The XXVIII Edition of the Autumn Meeting on Power, Electronics and Computing (ROPEC 2026) will be held on November 9-11, 2026 at the Centro Cultural Universitario of the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo, in the historic center of Morelia, Michoacán. The venue offers auditoriums, galleries and multipurpose halls within a restored heritage building, providing an elegant and functional setting for the technical sessions, keynote lectures and exhibitions of the conference.
The Centro Cultural Universitario is located at Av. Francisco I. Madero Pte. 350, Centro histórico de Morelia, 58000 Morelia, Mich., just steps away from the Cathedral of Morelia, the Palacio de Gobierno and the main pedestrian corridors of the city. Its central location means that hotels, restaurants, museums and cultural attractions are all within walking distance, and no internal transportation is required between the conference sessions and the recommended accommodation.
Morelia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1991, is one of the most beautiful colonial cities in Mexico. Its pink stone architecture, the aqueduct, the Callejón del Romance and its renowned gastronomy make it an outstanding destination for both academic and cultural activities. The city is served by the General Francisco J. Mújica International Airport (MLM), approximately 30 minutes from the historic center, with direct connections to Mexico City, Guadalajara, Tijuana and several cities in the United States.
