Call for posters

The well-renowned International Conference 2026 IEEE Autumn Meeting on Power, Electronics and Computing (ROPEC26) is organized by the IEEE Centro Occidente Section, supported by the Universidad Michoacana de San Nicolás de Hidalgo (UMSNH), the Instituto Tecnológico de Morelia (ITM), and the Comisión Federal de Electricidad, División Centro Occidente (DCO-CFE) of Mexico. It will be held on November 9-11, 2026, in Morelia, Michoacán, México.

 

CALL FOR POSTERS

The Organizing Committee of the 2026 IEEE International Conference ROPEC invites students, researchers, and practitioners worldwide to submit abstracts of investigations for consideration for presentation in the poster session. The technical committee will establish a review process to determine which posters are accepted. Additionally, the best poster award will be granted based on technical quality and presentation.

Requirements

  • Original and unpublished work.
  • Can include preliminary results, case studies, technological developments, advanced class projects, or prototypes.
  • At least one author must register for the conference.
  • The first author must present the poster.

Costs

Poster fee covers event registration.

  • Price:  $130 USD
  • The authors are responsible for ensuring the printing and transportation of the poster for the session. 

 

Recommended Poster Guidelines

  • Technical specifications
    • Size: 90 cm wide × 120 cm high (portrait orientation)
    • Material: matte paper or light fabric (no gloss)
    • Fonts: Arial, Montserrat, Calibri, Roboto. 
    • Title: 80 pt (sans serif)
    • Subtitles: 40 pt
    • Body: minimum 28 pt
    • Content: title, authors, affiliation, abstract, introduction, materials and methods, results, conclusions, and references
    • Language: English
    • Required logos: ROPEC 2026 and affiliations.
  • Best practices
    • Maximum 3 main colors
    • Figures at least 600 DPI
    • Understandable in 3–5 minutes from 1 – 1.5 m away.
  • Logistics and Ethics
    • Arrive 30 minutes before session for mounting
    • Recommended business casual attire 
    • No excessive commercial or offensive content

Abstract submission:

The abstracts must be written in English, limited to one page, and contain no images. Following acceptance, posters are required to be submitted in PDF format through EasyChair; all content must be presented in English. Optional templates can be downloaded from:
